Trees fall one swing of the ax at a time.
Searching through ancient cell phone photos I found this beauty. My two friends and I spent an entire afternoon swinging a dull ax into a giant oak until it hit the ground. We'd take turns as each one of us would grow exhausted or need a break from the reverberation channeling its way into our bones.
Life isn't about choosing the easiest path, it's about refusing to quit swinging until the tree falls. And it's made all the sweeter when you travel that path with friends.
Fortune favors the bold. - Virgil, Roman Poet
