Striving Through the Tough Days

Updated: May 11, 2020

It's not Always about Winning, it's about Standing Back Up when you Fall Down

I had a long day today, both physically and emotionally. Some days aren't the easiest. We all know the ones: You get to work with a plan, and you hardly touch it because of fire drills. Your social interactions are more draining than uplifting. It's time to workout and your muscles start screaming to stop.

But today I decided to push through. I spent an hour on the bike. I did my full body exercises. I spent time stretching. And I even stayed up late to write a blog, keeping my blog writing streak alive. I may be weak and exhausted, but I'm also thankful to be gifted with today. I did my best with it. And the satisfaction when I hit my pillow will be well earned.

There is nothing to writing. All you do is sit down at a typewriter and bleed. - Ernest Hemingway, American Novelist

Your Story

I want to hear about the times when you've had the odds stacked against you and decided to keep pushing through your day anyway. Remember the feelings of adversity, followed by an exhausted triumph, and leave your fellow readers your words of encouragement.
