It's not Always about Winning, it's about Standing Back Up when you Fall Down
I had a long day today, both physically and emotionally. Some days aren't the easiest. We all know the ones: You get to work with a plan, and you hardly touch it because of fire drills. Your social interactions are more draining than uplifting. It's time to workout and your muscles start screaming to stop.
But today I decided to push through. I spent an hour on the bike. I did my full body exercises. I spent time stretching. And I even stayed up late to write a blog, keeping my blog writing streak alive. I may be weak and exhausted, but I'm also thankful to be gifted with today. I did my best with it. And the satisfaction when I hit my pillow will be well earned.
There is nothing to writing. All you do is sit down at a typewriter and bleed. - Ernest Hemingway, American Novelist
